Visual System

The visual system consists of the (1) sensory organ (the eye) and (2) the part of the central nervous system which gives organisms the ability to process visual detail as sight.

It enables the formation of several non-image photo response functions such as the pupillary light reflex (PLR) and circadian photoentrainment.
